Crocheting for Beginners
Crochet is one of the oldest crafts in the world, and it is still used today to create many different items and garments. Crochet is known to have many health and wellbeing benefits. As research has shown, the effect that the repetitive motion of crochet has on the brain, is compared to meditating.
This course designed for those who have no or little experience with a crochet hook. Learn from a Certified Crochet Trainer, Barbara Jeromin. She will teach you how to do basic stitches such as chain, double, treble and half treble crochet, how to increase and decrease, how to form a cluster, a popcorn and a shell stitch, and how to work Front Post and Back Post Treble, as well as how to work in back/front loop only.

•Learn how to do a slip knot/magic ring.
•Learn how to do basic and more advanced stitches.
•Learn to read and count the stitches.
•Learn about how to read crochet patterns and different terminologies being used.

•Learn where to explore for trends, patterns, and ideas for future projects.
What to bring:
• 2 balls (50 gm) of light coloured 8 ply wool
• A crochet hook size 4.5 mm
• Scissors
• A yarn needle
• Pen & notepad for taking notes
