Building Bridges: Reconciliation through Understanding – Learning from and with Aboriginal people
This four week Wednesday evening course is offered by Reconciliation for Western Sydney, in cooperation with the Parramatta College.
Learn about the rich Indigenous culture, history and current issues of reconciliation and justice, directly from Aboriginal presenters from near and far. Experience their wisdom and resilience. Explore what needs to happen regarding “Voice Treaty and Truth” following the “Uluru Statement from the Heart” and how we, the people, can contribute to move forward.
The course is free and supper provided (donations welcome). Everyone welcome, including High School students and people new to the concerns.
Times: Wednesdays 7:30-9:30pm on 4/9, 11/9, 18/9 and 25/9
Place: Reg Byrne Community Centre, Cnr Darcy Rd and Fyall Ave, Wentworthville, off Cumberland Highway, parking available.
Attendance of all sessions and registration with the Parramatta College is recommended.
